Our SOUL-power

Our SOUL-power

(NKJV, I Samuel 16:23). 23 And so it was, whenever the spirit from God was upon Saul, that David would take a harp and play itwith his hand. Then Saul would become refreshed and well, and the distressing spirit would depart from him.

SOUL is the center of our being.

It was David’s drawing on SOUL that lifted him to grand success.  David’s spiritual connectedness to SOUL was communicated through his harp playing, as well.  It is what soothed and healed King Saul’s distress and pain.

Saul would succumb to anger, despair and envy.  He even tried to kill David when he thought that David’s abilities and rising status were usurping his standing with his people.  But David drew on SOUL for spiritual poise, confidence, alertness and affection.

Our expression of the tone and qualities of SOUL gives us inner calm, confidence and amplifies the abilities to resolve difficult problems. SOUL compounds the good effects of our work.
