The Hebrew word for Satan means to oppose, to be an adversary. Therefore, Jesus’ spiritual comprehension eradicated material opposition (it eradicated Satan). He proved that spiritual enlightenment ejects any opposition to LOVE-given goodness.



A big lie is as impotent as a little lie when confronted by TRUTH. Because it is a void, without a speck of reality, evil's deceptions (animal magnetism) pretend to be something. Its pretensions appear as aggressive, angry, hateful lies; or as sneaky, innocent lies. Either way, animal magnetism is feeble, confused, self-deceived thinking. It is squashed by the "heel" -- the divine force -- of a TRUTH-aligned consciousness.



Our Christly power over materiality's pretensions emanates from the imperial authority of divine LIFE-LOVE. When sleeping and when awake our spiritual understanding obliterates mortal suggestion (animal magnetism).
