Dynamic LIFE emancipates us

“13 Then he said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” And the man stretched it out, and it was restored, sound like the other” (MOUNCE Bible, Mathew 12:13).

Eddy: “His proof (Jesus’) of Christianity was no form or system of religion and worship, but Christian Science, working out the harmony of Life and Love.”

Secular and religious systems of thinking, which start from a restrictive, material perspective, can be excised with spiritual sense.  SOUL’s active presence in us makes it possible for us to attain more than seems possible -- to stretch beyond present limits.  Unconstrained MIND emancipates us from the narrow, mortal ego/mind and then we burst outwardly with new abilities and attainments.

“13 You call me ‘Teacher!’ and ‘Master!’ and you speak rightly, for so I am. 14 If I, then, your Master and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet” (MOUNCE Bible, John 13:13-14).

Eddy: “The baptism of Spirit, washing the body of all the impurities of the flesh, signifies that the pure in heart see God and are approaching spiritual Life and its demonstration.”

Even when Jesus, the great Teacher, was about to go through torture and death, he continued to qualify his students for their own ministries.  As he washed their feet he was teaching them that spiritual courage and strength come from LOVE.  He reminded them of the importance of inner purification, humility and generosity.  By turning ourselves over to omnipotent MIND-SOUL we advance in impressive and unexpected ways.
