Truth-empowered Thinking Repudiates Error

Truth’s ideas are our gospel—our spiritual, irreversible good news.  The wonderful news is that Good-God is the preeminent energy, intelligence and substance of being. This understanding overwhelms and cancels evil.  It overthrows material sin and suffering with spiritual goodness. 

 

 Spirit-Truth educates our thought away from materiality’s insipid, restrictive illusions.  Spiritual knowledge discloses our unbounded, celestial self.  We learn that our transcendent make-up flourishes with interminable intelligence, health, love and joy. 

 

 The Bible advises that we get wisdom above all else.  The wisdom of Truth inspires, comforts, succors and regenerates our experience.  It clears away confusions, dilemmas and fears.  The tenderness and fullness of Love-Truth eradicates hurts, loneliness and doubts. 

 

Material conditions are mistaken beliefs trying to have the final say.  They appear obstinate.  But they are just one step away from vanishing because they do not have any sanction from divine Truth.  Mind’s messages communicate infinite health and intelligence, and they resolve ostensibly intractable challenges.

 

It was Jesus’ apprehension of Truth which redeemed many from death, illness and sin.  Spiritual understanding has done the same for people before Jesus’ era and afterwards.  Truth is timeless wisdom and might.  It is the universal remedy.

 

Like all who grasp something of Truth, the apostle Paul was awed by his celestial glimpses.  Referring to Principle-Truth as “Father” -- as the source of everyone’s limitless, incorporeal existence, he describes how the knowledge of superlative Spirit surpasses material epistemic and reconfigures our human lives with spiritual health and plenty. 

 

Paul wrote, “For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, and from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, in order that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, rooted and grounded in love, in order that you may be empowered to grasp with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth,  and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with the fullness of God.”

 

When we let go of a personal, mortal ego and accept our divine self, which infinite Soul-God expresses, we experience an influx of spiritual abilities and means.

 

M. B. Eddy, who was an outstanding theologian and healer, wrote, “The real man being linked by Science to his Maker, mortals need only turn from sin and lose sight of mortal selfhood to find Christ, the real man and his relation to God, and to recognize the divine sonship.”

 

A man with a tumor on his neck requested spiritual guidance, wisdom and prayer.  We talked about many beautiful, spiritual concepts. Our conversations and prayers asserted his celestial wholeness, subsumed by the All-in-all of Love-Spirit.  We saw the tumor as a mortal misconception, as a material illusion, without any Truth-based substance and authority.  We recognized that his human body – specifically his neck --was subject to the corrective effects of understanding his healthy, spiritual sonship. 

 

With our Truth-based prayers we had in effect “bowed our knees before the Father.”  Three days later the tumor had disappeared from his neck. 

 

Wondrous, spiritual healings happen every day to thousands of people all over the world.  They represent Mind’s irrepressible and ever-active laws.

 

Humans invent religions, gods, and harsh judgments, but Truth-Love emits infinite grace.  It is universal, timeless and ever-at-hand to illumine, correct, empower and heal. 

 

Spirit-Truth produces and capacitates everyone’s healthy, immortal and matter-free self.
