Psalm: “Because thou hast made the LORD, who is my refuge, even the Most High,
thy habitation, there shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come
nigh thy dwelling.”
Eddy:
“The power of God brings deliverance to the captive. No power can withstand divine Love.”
Suffering, sickly, sinful and limited materiality
never touches or corrupts our SOUL-like selfhood. We are one with the reality of SOUL’s
comprehensiveness. We are SOUL’s incorporeal,
whole and perpetual ideas. The 38-year invalidism of the man at the pool of
Bethesda never affected his perfect self in SOUL. Jesus brought this fact to his thought. He accepted it and was healed. The others at the pool rejected the spiritual
illumination that Jesus brought to them.
Ever-active Christ is revealing to us our superlative, spiritual
self. We can accept it and experience
its sanative effects.
