We are Christ-enabled.

Colossians 1:9-12 New Living Translation (NLT)

9 So we have not stopped praying for you since we first heard about you. We ask God to give you complete knowledge of his will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding. 10 Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better. 11 We also pray that you will be strengthened with all his glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need. May you be filled with all the patience and endurance you need with joy, 12 always thanking the Father. He has enabled you to share in the inheritance that belongs to his people, who live in the light.

Eddy: “It is possible, -- yea, it is the duty and privilege of every child, man, and woman, -- to follow in some degree the example of the Master by the demonstration of Truth and Life, of health and holiness.”

Christly knowledge and pursuits propagate health, love, peace, patience, endurance and fulfillment.  Our Christ-spirit produces a nobler and rewarding standard of living.  The beneficial results and gratification that ensue from selfless, mutually supportive achievements outshine the pursuit of mere materiality.  Christly behavior compounds our health, enriches our relationships and improves our planet.

Matthew 1:23 Today's New International Version (TNIV)

23 “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”).

Eddy: “The Holy Ghost, or divine Spirit, overshadowed the pure sense of the Virgin-mother with the full recognition that being is Spirit.  The Christ dwelt forever an idea in the bosom of God, the divine Principle of the man, Jesus, and woman perceived this spiritual idea, though at first faintly developed.”

Our Christ-identity is a formidable expression of Spirit and dwells forever in the “bosom of God.”  Our MIND-sanctioned spiritual acuity (our pure, spiritual sense) enables us to recognize our spiritual wholeness and might.  This realization confronts and eradicates material challenges.
